WORLD THREATENED SPECIES DAY

What can an artist contribute to conservation?

Join artist Dr Lucienne Rickard on the fourth anniversary of her project Extinction Studies to learn about the life events, career progression and passions that have led her to perform one of the longest-running artworks to take place at our museum. A special focus will be on discussing how non-scientists can contribute to protecting our precious environment and native species.

A number of threatened species groups will have displays in the Central Gallery from 10am to 1pm, and Lucienne will be drawing from 10am to 10.30am, so do come along to see her in action and gather information. The museum doors open at 10am.

This is a FREE EVENT and you are welcome to bring non-member friends.
