Government House art tour

Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers AO, have kindly invited our members to a special reception at Government House. Her Excellency, who is the Patron of the Friends of TMAG, will host the event.
It will include a tour conducted by Jane Stewart, TMAG Principal Curator (Art), which will focus on the art collection. TMAG has curated a new display which celebrates contemporary Tasmanian art. Jane will lead a tour of the rehang which includes works from the TMAG collection by Richard Wastell, Michaye Boulter, Natalie Holtsbaum and Lola Greeno, Megan Walch, Anne Morrison, David Keeling, and Stephen Lees. Paintings by Philip Wolfhagen and Belinda Casey are also featured.
This is a special fundraising event for the Friends.
Because of the limited numbers, this invitation is restricted to Friends members only.
Members $40 for the art tour (the reception following the tour is free of charge)
