Friends TMAG Annual General Meeting
We warmly invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting. Hear about what the Friends have been doing over the past year, and then after the brief formalities, we are delighted to welcome our guest speaker.
Peter Tattersall joined TMAG in May this year as the Deputy Director – Audience Engagement. Previously Peter worked at the Australian National Maritime Museum for seven years, most recently as the Head of Programs and Site Activations. He was responsible for leading a diverse range of teams including education, public programs, volunteers, members, library, marketing and a cross-museum team leading the museum’s summer program. Peter’s background is in education and he has worked in schools and universities in Australia, Asia and the Pacific before moving to NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service where he wrote education programs and supported rangers to deliver them.
Peter has relocated to Hobart with his wife and two daughters and is excited about the challenges and opportunities that await at TMAG. He will talk about his work in museums, and some key projects on the horizon at TMAG.
Don’t be nervous about attending the AGM. The formalities take very little time, and since our constitution doesn’t allow nominations from the floor, you won’t come away with an unanticipated place on the committee.
This is of course a FREE EVENT. We look forward to seeing you!
