Here are some simple things that you can do to help the community express its opinion about the proposed cuts.
The Friends of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery have launched this petition to the Tasmanian Parliament calling on the State Government to reverse the proposed cuts to scientific, exhibitions and design staff at TMAG.
A good way to show your support, as many have already done, is to write to our members of the Tasmanian Parliament to let them know how you feel about the proposed cuts. Please remember to keep your communication courteous and constructive. A list of email addresses for members of parliament is available. You can copy and paste the list directly into the address line in your email program so that your correspondence goes to all of them, or you may wish to contact MPs individually.
