This summer, Around the World in 80 Objects takes visitors on a journey across the globe through TMAG’s diverse collections. Taking inspiration from Jules Verne’s classic 1873 novel, this exhibition showcases some fascinating stories, remarkable creature and hidden treasures — many of which have rarely been displayed before at TMAG.
Join us for a floor talk with TMAG’s Communications team, Andrée Hurburgh and Kath Uziallo, who helped bring the exhibition to life and will provide some behind-the-scenes insights into how an exhibition like this comes together. They will be joined by Peter Hughes, Senior Curator of Decorative Arts, who will relate the stories behind some of the intriguing objects on display.
