Friends Christmas/birthday party

We’re having a party! We are celebrating our 40th birthday this year, and we’re combining this significant event with our annual Christmas get-together. We’ll be serving an array of festive drinks and a substantial offering of party food: you’re not likely to need dinner afterwards.
What will make this event even more special is that we have some wonderful entertainment lined up for you. Accomplished pianist Louise Denson will play jazz on the grand piano kindly loaned to TMAG by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
Reaching 40 years is a great milestone for our organisation, and we do hope that you can join the celebrations. You are welcome to invite non-member friends and family to come along with you.

LOUISE DENSON is an award-winning pianist, composer and educator based in Hobart. She grew up in Canada, and graduated with a Masters of Music from New England Conservatory in Boston. Louise made a living playing jazz and Latin dance music in Montreal before emigrating to Australia to take up a position at the Queensland Conservatorium. As a performer, Louise has appeared at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Melbourne Women’s International Jazz Festival, Manly Jazz Festival, Noosa Jazz Festival, Brisbane Festival and many others.
